GCI is positioning themselves to house state of the art production technology for manufacturing of PV modules, operated by a team of trained local people who are invested in our journey to empower their future and that of their country.
Sales & Distribution
As an extension to our core business of PV modules, GCI will position the business to become distributors of reputable solar energy brands for solar inverters, energy storage solutions, pre-designed solar solutions, and other components relating to production of solar energy. This will enable us to build a “one stop shop” that reflects solar rated solutions.
BUILDING STABLE SUPPLY CHAINS FOR SOLAR INDUSTRY
Namibia is poised to become Africa’s renewable energy hub through its Green Hydrogen megaproject. However, Namibia is heavily reliant on imports to realize these projects.
We want to reduce import exposure and diversify Namibia’s GDP by shifting Namibia away from full international supply towards securing a local market share, ensuring that the Namibian economy fully benefits from the entire value chain and skills transfer.
